Sales Representative
Advance Shipping Supplies is a leading distributor of packaging and industrial supplies. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to prospect and develop accounts within the GTA (Mississauga, Toronto and surrounding area).
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and grow sales within a specified territory
- Prepare and execute sales forecasts/plans
- Develop sales plans and programs to ensure profit, growth and expansion of company product lines.
- Commitment to driving sales and building/solidifying a customer base, while maintaining performance levels in accordance with company goals and objectives
- Consultative sales: create added value in your sales approach
- Developing new opportunities within existing accounts; managing for high profitability.
- A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Industry sensitive: research, prospect and target new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- University/college degree
- Previous success in a sales role
- Minimum two years of industrial sales experience, preferably in a role involving cold calling and prospecting.
- The ability to seek out new business and recognize opportunities with existing clients
- Successful experience initiating and closing intricate sales involving multiple influencers on buying decisions
- Exceptional verbal, written, quoting, presentation skills, and the ability to deal with customers on all levels
- Results-driven
- Quick learner, self starter and ability to take initiative
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- References
